Ten years ago…
I was a stay-at-home mom of two with medical and student loan debt when I read an article that said you could earn money writing articles online.
I had zero experience, the pay was terrible ($5/hr), and the topics were boring (dental implants), but I was determined to drag us out of debt.
Several months later, I learned that some people actually earn a living creating their own websites, and I knew: If they could do it, I could do it too.
Thus, Equipping Godly Women was born.
For the next few years, I was pretty much glued to my computer, trying everything, hoping something would *work,* but mostly feeling like a failure. All while my 3 kids were sleeping, in school, or playing a few feet away.
I definitely was NOT an overnight success. But I WAS determined.
I built a website, started an email list, posted to social media, recorded a podcast, started a YouTube channel, taught courses, hired (and fired) VAs, launched a membership site, ran paid ads, hosted live online conferences, published 8 books, and more.
I spent thousands of dollars (that we didn’t have) on expensive courses, paid masterminds, business coaches, and blogging conferences. I spent countless hours reading books and articles, implementing what I learned, failing miserably, and trying again.
Until, eventually, the wins started adding up…
